Hello there!! A big hello after a long time!!!

It’s time! winter is here... It’s mid November and Ktm’s weather is getting cooler and cooler everyday… and I know everybody’s skin is acting up, so is mine. So, today I am here to share few of my easy to use tips using olive oil or Extra virgin olive oil to keep your skin soft and moisturized for this winter.

Olive oil is one good source for moisture. It is rich in Vitamin E. It is a perfect skin and hair remedy especially for winter.

Skin:

Our skin gets dry and rough during winter, especially the elbow, knees and the cuticles.

  • Massage your body with olive oil about 10 to 20 mins before shower. This helps to lock the moisture and prevent it from drying.
  • Also apply after the shower; it is my personal favorite moisturizer for winter. It is odorless and does not smell like other oils do.

Hair:

With winter comes the dry and brittle hair, so regular massage of olive oil prevents from drying and split ends.

  • Give your scalp a nice massage applying olive oil on it.
  • Mix about 2 tablespoons of olive oil and eggs(1-3 according to your hair length) and apply the pack on your for about 20 mins. Shampoo and condition as usual. This results soft and shiny hair or let’s just call it conditioner/moisture pack!

Benefits of olive oil:

  • makes the skin soft and supple.
  • rich in Vitamin E, which helps in reducing wrinkles and improved texture of your skin.
  • natural product without any side effects,so skin irritation is not common.
  • regular use gives glow to the skin, which gives younger looking skin.
  • silicon ingredient helps to make your hair manageable.
  • helps to grow hair faster.
  • works great for dandruff .
